Mews

A Flutter reader for Mews pages (see ../mews-spec/). Local-first: pages, bookmarks, subscriptions, and reading settings live in a local Drift database; network access only revalidates the cache.

Targets Android and Linux desktop. From the repository root, run devbox shell and then:

  • devbox run run-linux — run the Linux desktop app
  • devbox run build-linux — build the Linux bundle at app/build/linux/x64/release/bundle/
  • devbox run run — run on a connected device
  • devbox run test / devbox run analyze

The devbox shell supplies the GTK toolchain, cmake, ninja, clang, and pkg-config that the Linux build needs. The bundle is self-contained: the build adds an $ORIGIN runpath to the bundled engine library so Dart's sqlite3 lookup resolves when the binary is launched directly.
