<span class="fsl">Kate Danyu Chen is an artist and spatial designer currently based in Berlin. Her artistic practice focuses on corporeal and theoretical experiments of space. She incorporates media of drawing, installation, performance, text, and film, and is interested in translations between analog and digital processes. With a background in architecture, Kate's practice addresses body-politics of space, urban rituals of the everyday, and intersections of technology with the human body. Currently, her research focuses on Donna Haraway’s post-humanist concept of the “cyborg” as a synthesis of dualisms — human/machine, male/female, natural/artificial, virtual/real — to critically reconstruct an understanding of being and consciousness. She recently took part to the exhibition « Un_becoming: The Erotic, the Body & technology » in SomoS Art Gallery in the context of the Berlin Pornfilm Festival 2018 and presented there the Installation/Video piece «Offline Venus : Memories and myths of the Cyborg».</span>

<span class="fsl">Mila Chiral is a Berlin-based dancer-choreographer, electronic musician and DJ, who works in composing sounds and poetry as well as bodies and movements in time and space. She is part of minutektiv, a group of female* music producers from Berlin, and of the transdisciplinary art collective WAH (Weber / Anderson / Helschinger) in which she performs with dance, voice, acoustic soundscapes, electronic music, poetry and elements from visual arts, questioning the inherent relationship of existential and artistic freedom. Mila Chiral is also one of the organizers of MEETUP Berlin, a new and growing community of female-identifying, trans and non-binary artists in the fields of electronic music and arts and a member of female:pressure.</span>

In selected examples she will give an insight to her artistic approach and techniques, including her artistic background from dance/choreography to electronic music and interdisciplinary art forms such as digital arts. At the end of the talk, Mila Chiral will show as a premiere the brand-new video directed by Faulty Agatha by Was Deferenz to her track 'Stars & Flowers' from the album 'WHERE TIME MEETS SPACE' (2017).</span>

<span class="fsl">Matt Gingold (aka Helen Back aka gameover/hack) is a trans-feminist artist, producer, curator, critic and coder. Emerging from a multiplicity of Melbourne’s queer, drug and techno scenes in the 90s, they have established their multiple identities in political activism, open source coding, community engagement, real-time media systems, interactivity, installation and perceptual experimentation. Their work has been performed, exhibited and awarded widely including a Prix Ars Electronica Award of Distinction and a Green Room Award for Best Video Design. They have also received numerous honorary fellowships in the area of computer vision, machine learning and dance/somatic intelligence. Since 2015 they live and work from Berlin and Halle (an der Saale), DE.</span>
