#39: Pierce Warnecke / http://piercewarnecke.com/ – My work stems from interest in the effects of time on matter: modification, deterioration and disappearance. Whether the focus is on digital forms or rough materials, large scales of time or microscopic details, the goal of my work is to re-adapt existing objects and materials into parallel contexts where their signified meanings, symbols and cultural connections have become residual ghosts. I like to imagine false paradigms, inexistent branches of research and fictional sciences in order to create unrealistic questionings as a basis for a new work. Form emerges through a process of collecting, filtering and combining phenomena (objects, data, sounds, images) that is linked to the conjecture. There are explorations and structures in this 'research' but no conclusions, except the ones you make.

A common solution is to use SD analog video and a commercially available mixer such as the Edirol V4. But the move to the better quality of digital video and the high cost of commercial digital mixers has prompted community developments of alternative devices.
#20: Aude Rose / http://auderrose.de/ – Aude Francois also called Aude Rrose is multi-disciplinary artist living between Paris and Berlin, working with performance, photography, sound and live video. She regularly presents her video performances in international festivals. Her imagery plays with narrative structures, developing dreamy and intimate universes, exploring various forms of interplay between body, images in motion, deconstructive narrations and self-mythology. Her performances articulate live scenography protocols integrating video as an environment medium, often using real-time camera feedback, considering the black box as a possible oneiric space, where sounds and images communicate in a poetic and narrative journey.
