In early 2020 the pandemic led to total cancellation of cultural events which had been my [main source of income in the decades before](({filename}../blog/kiritanflux.md)) and I was forced to radically reconsider my career.
In summer I was approached by a group of people I had already interacted with for a few months. It was the Randonauts, a movement of geeks and seekers exploring the possibilities of escaping behavioural patterns by means of randomly generated coordinates. They founded a company with the goal to create a [professional app](https://www.randonautica.com) and were looking for a project manager. I immediately said yes and have been working for them ever since.

Developed by the global movement, The Randonauts and based on the theories stemming from the Fatum Project, the Randonautica app was created to encourage people to venture outside of their day-to-day routine by using a quantum random number generator to derive a truly random coordinate to journey to. The phenomenon has taken the world by storm and there are millions of Randonauts exploring their surroundings in nearly every country.
